At this time 10 years ago our website www.frances.is was launched. Since then tremendous developments have been on the internet world and also in design of salmon flies. These are micro flies, hitch tubes, cone head tubes, tungsten cubes and cone heads. Again we are proud to introduce a cone head tube with interchangeable bodies. We call it “ConeCept” a mixture of the word Cone head tube and Concept. The fly is constructed of Iceland’s most successful salmon flies, the Frances, Black sheep, Collie dog, Green butt and Black and blue. I designed the fly during the fall of 2006 and tested it in one of our greatest salmon rivers Sela. The fly was an instant hit and has proven to be very successful amongst our fishing friends. The fly was designed when our good fishing friend Margret Hauksdottir, Maddí celebrated her 50^th birthday on one of our fishing trips. So the fly was named Maddí design.
